OPEN BETA FOR SPARE-PHONE OWNERS

Phones renters
want.

Developers and QA teams on PocketShare request the Android models they need to test on. If one of them is sitting in your drawer, it may be worth hosting. Check the setup, upkeep and running costs in the guide first.

THE REQUEST BOARD

Most-requested models.

Models two or more renter accounts have asked for, most requests first (up to 50), and how many phones of each are listed now.

The current requests load in your browser.

HOW REQUESTS WORK

Before you plug in a phone.

  • A request is not a booking: whether a phone is rented, and what it earns, depends on paid demand, your price and how reliable the phone is.
  • A listed model already has a host; another phone of it can still help when renters need one at the same time.
  • Models not on the board can still be useful. Any Android 8.0 or newer phone with a healthy battery and no SIM card can be checked by the hub.
  • Use a phone you already own and can set aside. Don’t buy a phone just to host.
  • The board shows only model names and counts, never who asked.
